A closer look at the new Oyster Perpetual Submariner and Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date from Rolex.

From the introduction of the Oyster Perpetual Submariner in 1953, followed by the Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date in 1969, Rolex has shared historic links to the world of diving, all while ensuring reliable timekeeping on land or under the sea.

This year, Rolex proudly reveals a new generation of its Oyster Perpetual Submariner and Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date. While still following the design hallmarks of its predecessors, the new generation feature a slightly larger 41mm case and are fitted on a remodeled bracelet. On the inside, the timepieces are equipped with movements that are at the forefront of watchmaking technology: The Submariner with calibre 3230, unveiled by the brand this year, and the Submariner Date with calibre 3235.
