Innovations in façade have become a norm. No two façades should look alike

OUTSTANDING FRONT

Creativity and style are two main factors needed to innovate. Appearance as the most impressive item, is more important than you think, and making a good first impression may be an essential thing with regard to attracting people to every-thing, even a building. A building façade is required to be attractive, but the façade isn’t just an aesthetic element; it’s an essential parameter for building performance. Façade form an integral part of building aesthetic as well as building performance.

Over the years, engineers have created different types of façades with various materials. Until now, stainless steel façades have primarily been used in large buildings. Innovative developments in processing technology make stainless steel façades attractive even for smaller buildings. Combinations with wood, concrete, masonry or coated steel sheets open up a multitude of new design possibilities. Stainless steel can also be used efficiently for façades with technical functions such as light control, shading or electromagnetic shielding.

Innovative façade technologies aim to develop long-term solutions for intelligent, sustainable façades: Maximum energy efficiency and comfort should go hand in hand with minimum resource consumption. Because nowadays a facade has much more to offer than just good looks.
