Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, a flagship college of the JIS Group, was selected for the third time to be the nodal centre to organise the third edition of the Smart India Hackathon 2019 Software Edition Grand Finale on March 2 and 3, 2019.
This event was initiated by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resource Development in collaboration with i4c, MyGod, Persistent Systems, MIC, DEVENT, Deloitte, Cisco, KPIT and Suma Soft along with several other union ministries. The inauguration of the grand finale took place at the GNIT campus in Kolkata on March 2.
