Jan and Pinny treated their guests to a two-day extravaganza in a custom-designed marquee festooned with epic blooms

When Jan first met Pinny, she was struck by his good looks and love of snowboarding– but says he was really shy. Pinny laughs and recalls it was more of a physical attraction for him, which soon transformed into something deeper. After six years of dating, he popped the question on the stroke of midnight at New Year in Dubai. “I was so emotional I missed the huge display of fireworks, which is still a standing joke as I love fireworks,” smiles Jan. “My children were sitting with us when he popped the question and he took me totally by surprise.”
