Our never ending love for the FTR 1200 takes us to Australia for a ride!

WE reviewed the Indian Motorcycle FTR 1200 a while ago in the twisties of Santa Monica, US and came out mighty impressed with the motorcycle. So much so… that we got one in our garage as soon as it was launched in the Indian market. And even then we couldn’t have enough of it. So when we went to Australia this time around, we wanted to have some more FTR and this time… down under!

Australia has been our go-to place whenever we want to ride… and just ride. The country has got everything a motorcyclist could as for. Twisties… you got it. Some dirt-ey stuff… you got it. Straight roads… you got it.

Talking about the twisties, Putty Road is one of the most famous ones in Australia. It is a hot spot for the bikers of the country and you can see a lot many running up and down the road enjoying their motorcycles and the winding corners.

Stretched between the Wollemi and the Blue Mountains National park, the road offers ample photo opportunities and a fine testing ground for motorcycles. Especially the ones of the calibre that the FTR 1200 possesses.

The FTR 1200 is a fantastic handler. And the folks at Indian Motorcycle have so much faith in its prowess, that when they launched it, they invited the journalists to ride on the snake-y roads of Santa Monica. And right after a few corners, we had as much faith in the FTR 1200 as those guys… if not more!
