I turned the key, entered my room exhausted, and walked towards the bed when I saw it. Actually, I heard it before I saw it. A loud croak. A frog as big as my fist was just sitting (do frogs stand? Are they always standing or sitting?) by the bed and looked as surprised to see me as I was to see it. It promptly hopped away under the bed, where it stayed all night. But compared to what I had just experienced outside, this failed miserably to shock me. I slept like a baby.
