WITH THE FRONT SUSPENSION AND ANTI-SWAY bar installed, the next task was to fit the torsion bars. Initially this seemed like a reasonably simple process with just a couple of bolt fixings at the front and rear of each bar. I had asked my brother, Ray, to join me and assist with the process. I had it in mind that this should be completed in around one to one and a half hours. however, and even though John Olsen was never far away for advice and assistance, the installation was not completed until early afternoon, a total time taken of about four hours.
