Baird & Co, one of Britain’s leading bullion merchants and gold refiners, found itself in such a dilemma recently and it turned to Porsche for help. Three Panamera Turbo Sport Turismos were dispatched to Baird’s East London refinery to ship the 24 bars, each weighing 12.5 kg, to its new showroom (with state-of-theart underground vault) in London’s Hatton Garden.
