My Race Weekend

At the Kari Motor Speedway, racing alongside the best in the country.

IN JANUARY THIS YEAR HONDA invited me to experience a complete race weekend at the MMRT circuit in Chennai and entered me into the Open Class of the Honda One Make Championship. You can read about my experience there in the March 2017 issue of Bike India. Needless to say, sharing the track with some of India’s top racers was a terrifying experience; I just about managed to qualify, started from the back of the grid and was happy to have finished the race without incident. It was an amazing experience during the last round of the 2016 championship, and I thought that was the end of it. However, Honda surprised me by inviting me again to participate in the first round of the 2017 One Make Championship at the Kari Motor Speedway over the second weekend of June.
