This Corner Terrace Successfully Overcomes The Challenge Of Being In The Path Of The Afternoon Sun.

Staying Cool

To own a corner terrace in Singapore with a side elevation that faces the west is not the most ideal, given how hot the afternoon sun can be.

While leaving the air-conditioning on the entire day is a possibility, it is not the most environmentally- or wallet-friendly solution. In fact, the owners preferred not to do so.

So when they approached Renaissance Planners & Designers to design their 3,000ft 2 , two-storey home in the west, Design Director Kelvin Bing proceeded to make lemonade out of lemons.
