The design approach for the junior school is guided by the psychological needs and fears a child and his guardians would have at this crucial juncture of life when the child steps out of the safe domains of his home, into this world.

Child needs a space away from home, shared by many, a free environment, a space which would give him the sense of openness, without the fear of losing the orientation, a scale to which a child would relate, without getting intimidated. The new place should provide him with opportunities to see, smell and touch. It has to be a space where one would love to spend the day and release the energy in joyful activities.
