Combining her unique sense of design with a business idea germinating from the mind of interior industry veteran Gautam Baid, one emerges with a promising offering christened Sunday Design.

What was the idea behind developing a brand like Sunday Design?

Gautam Baid: “We have wanted Sunday Design to approach the concept of furnishings from a different viewpoint. What I have realised with my years in the interior industry is that all customers expect good design, but also inspired design. With Sunday, we focus on ergonomic comfort designed by experienced designers from Italy and soon other parts of the world as well. While we get a superior design from legacy talent, we manufacture the same locally with our experienced artisans and the best of material. The result is a model that has immense potential for growth because it stems from a focus on fashionable yet attainable design with high utility.”
