RECENTLY, I got drawn into an age-old debate regarding the price people charge for exhibition birds. The fancier raising the subject was a novice exhibitor of several years standing and the initial question asked was: “What did we think were the reasons people were leaving the fancy and why couldn’t the fancy attract young people to join?”
