The Duke And Duchess Of Cornwall Celebrate Camilla’s New Title.

Charles & Camilla's - Make Or Break Holiday

Busy touring the Caribbean last week Prince Charles and his wife Camilla took time off from their jam-packed 13-day schedule to unwind and celebrate a royal milestone that neither thought would ever happen.

The couple, whose whirlwind trip saw them take part in more than 50 engagements, almost went unnoticed as they strolled barefoot along the beach together before taking a dip in the ocean.

While the Prince of Wales, 70, swapped his usual tailored suits for floral swim shorts, the Duchess of Cornwall, 71, rocked a blue one-piece and wore dark sunglasses. Laughing together, the pair looked happier than ever and seemed joyful in each other’s company.

The break is just what the couple needed given the pressure their marriage has been under after Lady Davina Windsor announced her divorce (see page 6). Charles was shocked by the news of Davina’s divorce, especially because she had been married for 14 years, which is a similar length of time to his and Camilla’s marriage, and that fact deeply saddened him.

Their unofficial outing comes as Camilla prepares to take on a new royal title as Princess of Wales – almost 15 years after she married her prince.

At the time of their wedding in 2005, Clarence House vowed that Camilla would be given the title Princess Consort only when her husband succeeds to the throne. It was thought to be a sign of respect to Charles&rs
