Do you like observing things? Start counting the objects and living things around you that attract your attention. Let’s see what you’ll find!
We started this issue by playing an observation game. We counted what we saw around us, one by one. Birds, trees, cats, ants, snails, leaves, people walking on the street, cars, bicycles, trash bins… Then one of us said: “There’s so much trash around. Where does all this go?”. We looked at the types of waste we dump. We thought “What if waste materials keep piling up?” and started working.
We researched what happens to the trash we dispose from here to there. We visited solid waste facilities, factories, nature conservation centres. The more we learned how harmful trash is to nature, the faster we changed our habits. We looked for ways to become a conscious consumer and protect nature. We wrote our findings for you.
