Issue 6 of Rajputana Collective: The Eastern Edition is groundbreaking in several ways. To begin with, it is spared the commercial burdens of its predecessors and keenly strives to uncover the hidden gems of India’s Orient in the form of Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar and Tripura in the form of ten diverse features. Supplementing them, are three cultural and lifestyle features from the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Further, Issue 6 exceeds its imperatives to interpellate a readership by also encouraging a talented fleet of authors and contributors to grace the platform with their distinct writing styles. It has been a heartwarming experience for me to delve Eastwards with an active engagement between its indigenous voices.

In all, its resolve to transcend boundaries that are both geographical and representational, Issue 6 is so much more than the playful cover and layout that meets the eye. On that note, I will leave you to engage with this viridescent bind. Like its dominant colour, may Issue 6 infuse you with freshness that is resounding of a not-so-distant land that we are just beginning to scratch the surface of, and how we gasp and marvel as we do.
