This year surely has whizzed past faster than I can imagine. Although I am not half as close to being comfortable that the year is gearing towards the end. The thing I  look forward to is that the rest of the year will be better than the first half of it. As the festival season closes in, there is a lot of celebration in store in the coming months.

As we have entered a New Year and quite a fancy one at that .We are already well into a
month and more. The wedding season has kick started,and what more reason do we need to
celebrate our third anniversary,
yes Mehendi turns 3.
Our baby steps may not have been perfect, we crawled a bit, fumbled and even fell,but
only to over come and stand tall. And so this year we are all set to go head on to give you
the pleasure of being part of the Mehendi family. It has been the constant support of our
well wishers, clients, contributors and most of all our readers who has helped us pursue
this journey. And as the years roll by we are sure to push harder to give you the ultimate
Mehendi experience. This issue is special for us as we have the unbelievably beautiful star
Kajal Agarwal as our cover girl. She is often hailed as the darling of the masses and the
lucky charm of most producers. Kajal very graciously lent us her time in between her back to

My favorite part of the year is just
around the corner, the temperature
dips and the festivals begin soon, and we set stage for the celebrations.
Weddings these days are getting so adventurous it is a festival of sorts,
spanning for almost a week of activities. Families are choosing venues out
of city limits to conduct their extravagant functions. I recently witnessed
a wedding which was based on an African theme and stopped short of
only bringing a piece of Africa right here in town. The elaborate tents,
costumes and musicians took you to a different realm. They even had
African dancers performing traditional dances. The world has certainly
gotten a lot smaller, and boundaries have been now broken. We bring

All of august flew by with not a day to spare, and all this month, I was to be honest, figuring out a small trivia I came across much to my amusement.
