The May-June 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟒 issue of 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 is out. With the Arabian Travel Market about to begin, we focus on issues and developments that link Indian outbound travel market with the GCC region. Hence, the market analysis focusses on how the GCC destinations are outbidding each other in seducing the opulent Indian traveller, who is taking overseas trips for short luxury breaks at the drop of a hat. Not just in quantity, the GCC is also leading in quality, redefining the terms of sustainable luxury offerings with ambitious projects like the Red Sea Global.
Sustainability was also one of the key themes at the 10th edition of WTM Africa held in Cape Town, South Africa, where again India Outbound was the sole Indian media partner. We also explore Erinvale, a luxury resort about 50 km from Cape Town. From South Africa, we take you to the northern extremes of the planet to the Arctic Circle where we discover Arkhangelsk, a charming Russian town. After a few surprising sights of the safari in the deserts of Sharjah, we hop on to Amtrak’s Coast Starlight for an epic journey built around the diversity of US West Coast landscapes. Along with a bite or two from some of the most delectable chocolate festivals in the world!
