Curry ready meals recalled over allergy fears

A SUPERMARKET is urgently recall- ing a ready meal, warning it could be a health risk.

Farmfoods, which has more than 300 stores in the UK, is asking shoppers to return the item to their nearest store.

The supermarket is recalling its Farmfoods Ultimate Keralan Chicken Curry because it contains prawns not mentioned on the label. Some people are allergic to the crustaceans.

Farmfoods said the meal poses a “potential health risk” to “individuals with seafood allergies or intolerances”.

The recall covers food with the product code L550 in a 400g pack and a best before date of February 13, 2026.
