CELEBRATING A LEGACY OF SERVICE, EXCELLENCE, AND FAITH

AN EVENING FIFTY YEARS IN THE MAKING Anniversaries mark the passage of time, and then tell the story of a people.

On the evening of June 18, Metropolitan Medical Center College of Arts, Science and Technology (MMC CAST) formally launched its Golden Jubilee celebration with a Gala Night that was as much a homecoming as it was a milestone. Beneath the glow of shimmering lights, generations of Metronistas gathered to celebrate the longevity of a school and the enduring spirit of a community that has quietly shaped healthcare professionals for half a century.

The evening unfolded with warmth and reverence. Guests arrived dressed for the occasion, greeted by a thoughtfully decorated venue where black and gold balloons framed the stage and tables. The atmosphere was festive yet nostalgic. Old colleagues embraced. Former faculty members and administrators reunited. Alumni exchanged stories with mentors that seemed to erase the years between them.

As voices rose in unison during the singing of the National Anthem, the invocation, and the MMC CAST Hymn, a sense of shared history filled the room. The choir’s harmonious performance added a poignant note to the celebration, reminding everyone present that institutions are ultimately built by people bound together by a common purpose.

The Gala Night marked the official opening of MMC CAST’s year-long 50th Founding Anniversary celebration anchored on the theme, “50 Years Strong: Building Pathways to Global Horizons.”
