Tusker 'raids' vehicles in search of veggies

A lone wild tusker has turned out to be a 'road hump' in Bandipur forest, worrying commuters travelling between Mysuru and Ooty in Tamil Nadu.
The tusker menace has turned out to be a regular feature in recent days as it reaches the road around 4 pm and attacks vehicles carrying fruits, jaggery, bananas and other items to enjoy the feast. It turns wild and charges if someone gets down from the vehicle or attempts to chase it into the forest.
The commuters said that they had a tough time for more than an hour sitting inside the vehicles till Forest officials arrived at the spot to send it into the woods.
