There is no one in this world who can be compared to a mother who carries a baby for nine months, gives birth, and loves unconditionally, said former MLA Sa Ra Mahesh, while inaugurating a free health check-up camp for mothers near Kukkarahalli Lake.
IN today's world, it is unfortunate that children often neglect their parents, who have given them everything for their upliftment. The increasing number of old age homes is a sign of this growing disconnect. However, Krishna Kumar from Mysuru, along with his 75-year-old mother, Chudaratna (Ratnamma), is on a nationwide pilgrimage on his 24-year-old scooter. This journey has turned into an exemplary way of showing love and care for one's mother, said senior physician and cardiologist Dr Rajendra Kumar.
