Group oppose AI centre

A campaigning group who fight to safeguard the environment have expressed worries about the possibility of a massive AI Data Centre being developed in the i3 enterprise area in Irvine.

Arthur West of the Ayrshire Global Justice Now group said: "Evidence is now emerging from a number of organisations which indicate that large scale Data Centres such as the ones planned for Irvine and neighbouring Hurlford will place excessive demands on energy and water resources in the area."
