Restaurant calls time on business

A TOWN known for its variety of restaurants, bars and cafes is preparing to bid farewell to one of its most popular dining spots later this month.

It was confirmed on June 3 that Panache One London Road, in the leafy town of Poynton, would be closing its doors for good.

In an update shared on social media and its website, the team at the restaurant thanked guests past and present and confirmed its closure date.

The news has prompted an outpouring of condolences and well wishes from customers and residents, with many expressing their sadness at the sudden closure.

Nestled in the foothills of the Peak District, Poynton is only minutes from Stockport, and just 11 miles from Manchester, and boasts easy access to both Lyme Park and the Middlewood Way.

The update on Panache’s website reads: “Sadly, Panache will close its doors permanently from June 16, 2025.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. We value your patronage and appreciate your understanding.

“We would like to thank all our guests who visited Panache over the last seven years for your support and loyalty and look forward to seeing you enjoying our final offers.”
