DRIVERS have been banned from ‘performing stunts’, ‘excessively revving engines’ and ‘repeatedly sounding horns’ across a borough as part of a crackdown on anti-social behaviour.

Stockport council has approved the reinstatement of a public space protection order to crack down on car cruising for three years.

PSPOs give the authorities extra powers to deal with anti-social behaviour but can only last for a maximum of three years. A previous order expired in March.
