The Uttarakhand Congress Mahila Morcha workers on Monday took out a march towards the Raj Bhawan to protest against the alleged rising crimes against women in the state.

However, the protesters, led by state Congress women wing president Jyoti Rautela, were stopped by police at Hathibarkala. As the protesters tried to cross the barricades, a clash broke out between them and police.
