Local Hero will be opening at Parliament

The Scottish Parliament's Local Hero initiative recognizes individuals who make an extraordinary, lasting difference within their communities. Terry was chosen for her tireless dedication and profound impact on the lives of residents across Larkhall and the surrounding areas.

Terry has been a driving force for positive change in the region for well over a decade. In 2010, she established Larkhall Community Growers, a non-profit organization that has since expanded under her leadership into a vital network of local groups providing essential, ongoing support to the community.
