City to get direct bus service to Alton Towers

A NEW bus service is set to make getting to Alton Towers from Derby easier than ever on public transport.
-
The new X80 service will serve 40 stops between Derby and the theme park when it launches next month.
The service starts at Derby Bus Station and calls at Derby Railway Station and Uttoxeter Railway Station before arriving at the theme park. The timetables have been co-ordinated to connect with both local and national train arrivals.
