Star’s father says she was demotivated
FOOTBALLER Maddy Cusack was ‘dismayed’ that her former coach was joining her club in the months before she died, her father told an inquest.
David Cusack said the Sheffield United star, 27, seemed demotivated and depressed before she was found unresponsive at her home in September 2023.
Mr Cusack said Maddy first worked with Jonathan Morgan at Leicester City and was happy to leave the club.
She was ‘loving life’ until he became her coach again in February 2023, he said.
