Naomi Aldwyn-Allsworth has opened up about her polyamorous lifestyle in a new S4C documentary.

Naomi Aldwyn-Allsworth’s documentary Cariad Heb Ffiniau: Poliamori a Fi (Love without Limits: Polyamory and Me), follows the survival expert and TV personality as she navigates her relationships with multiple partners.

The 30-year-old from Crymych said the aim of her film had been to stop people prejudging those who choose to be non-monogamous, but it had been much bigger than she had expected and she spoke about the challenges she faced as relationships broke up and the conversations she had with her son and her parents.

Naomi grew up in what she said was a “very normal kind of little village in Wales life”, but as she got older she craved more from life and moved to London for university. While there she started dating Chris, a friend from home with whom she started to pursue a romantic relationship. A year into their relationship, they discovered that Naomi was pregnant with their son Barnaby.

She explained that she was initially very scared to open up her world to the cameras, but she knew it was important to discuss the topics of the documentary. Naomi said: “I was really nervous about it. It was also much bigger than I expected it to be. I expected to be one of many stories in a documentary and it ended up being a story just following my life.

“Quite scary, but I also think it’s really important because I was really lonely discovering my place in non-monogamy. So to have something out there that could potentially help, you know, even one person would be really great.”
