CANARA BANK delivered a standout performance in FY24, reporting its highest-ever net profit and demonstrating robust growth across all key parameters. The public sector lender’s standalone net profit jumped 37.2 per cent year over year to Rs 14,554 crore in FY24, compared to Rs 10,604 crore in FY23. This marks the bank's third consecutive year of record-breaking profitability, supported by a strong operational foundation and disciplined execution.
The bank's total business crossed the Rs 25 lakh crore mark, reflecting both healthy credit growth and deposit mobilisation. Global gross advances grew 11.2 per cent year over year to Rs 9,94,409 crore, driven by a 13.1 per cent increase in domestic advances. Retail lending, especially home and vehicle loans, played a pivotal role in this growth trajectory. On the deposit front, global deposits rose 10.6 per cent to Rs 15,72,230 crore, with the CASA ratio at 32.8 per cent.
