The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is the Indian Car of the Year 2026

Every year, eminent automotive journalists from around the country get together to judge some of the very best vehicles launched in India.

It's never easy for the jury to choose from a list of very deserving candidates, and this year was no different. The best ones always triumph, however, and here we have the winners of all the categories at ICOTY 2026.

Let's start with the Indian Car of the Year, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, which faced a fierce challenge from the rest of its rivals like the Hyundai Creta Electric, Hyundai Venue, Kia Carens Clavis EV, Kia Syros, and Tata Harrier EV. While the Victoris won the ICOTY 2026 title, the Skoda Kylaq came in as the first runner-up, and the Mahindra XEV 9e came in as the second runner-up.
