How Healthy Your Skin Is?

Her World: How does the food we eat affect our skin?

Dr Tan Sue Yee: “The food we eat nourishes our skin by providing it with the necessary nutrients for skin repair and regeneration, as well as the overall maintenance of a healthy complexion. A diet rich in good sources of whole grains, protein, fat, and fruits and vegetables is essential for healthy skin. Conversely, a diet predominantly made up of processed and unhealthy fatty foods is linked with skin that looks less desirable.”

HW: Is it true that oily food can cause a burst of acne?
