If you have a little time (or money) to spare, consider donating to these worthy causes in Singapore.
Aidha
Aidha provides financial programmes for foreign domestic workers and lower-income women – including financial management, computer literacy, English, leadership and entrepreneurial skills. More than 80 percent of Aidha’s graduates go on to start a regular savings system, and more than 70 percent invest in assets like livestock and land or start businesses in their home countries. “It is humbling to see the perseverance in these women,” says Yina Song, a South Korean expat, who has been volunteering with Aidha since 2012.
