Bursting with pure joy, Queensland mum Jeni Bonell can’t wipe the smile off her face as she gently cradles the latest addition to her growing brood and wonders if life could be any more perfect.
“Meet our precious new grandson – Remington Archer Matthews. Isn’t he the most beautiful little boy you’ve ever seen?” says Jeni.
“He arrived a few days late from his due date, and exactly one year to the day his big sister Aurora came into this world. An hour later, it would’ve been on the dot – you couldn’t make it up!
“It’s hard to believe 29 years ago I gave birth to his beautiful mum Brooke – it feels like yesterday and he has the same cute little chin she had as a baby!”
CUTTING IT FINE
Born March 26, weighing 3.92kg (8lb 6oz) and measuring an impressive 52cm, little Remington clearly couldn’t wait to meet his huge family, including mum Brooke’s 15 brothers and sisters.
