On a particularly busy day, I found myself stuck in some crazy traffic after a meeting in the bustling metropolis. But seeing as I wasn’t going to get to my next appointment on time, I decided to reschedule and take an unexpected detour. Besides, who can ever say no to some ‘me time’, right?
A quick google search showed me the nearest, and possibly newest, salon to get some well-deserved pampering after a long week of deadlines, strategy meetings, and everything in between. Yes, I didn’t hesitate to indulge and unwind. After all, when you choose to venture into a 5-star hotel, what else can you expect except for uber-luxury? The beige and white décor of the massive lobby only reinforced the fact:
I was about to spoilt and pampered, and I couldn’t wait.
