Is Callahan A 2020 Candidate?
For Bill Callahan, the Redskins interim head coach, he’s in charge for now. He reportedly has full control of the 53-man roster, which is an interesting twist. If you consider Jay Gruden never had 100 percent full control during his five-plus years, it’s strange that president Bruce Allen and owner Dan Snyder would give full autonomy to someone who is not the permanent boss.

Callahan, reportedly wanted out of his contract last year to go to Cincinnati and work with his son. One reason Callahan wanted to leave was because there was friction between Gruden and Callahan.
