LANXESS India established a skill development centre in Thane as part of its corporate social responsibility programme to provide training to aspiring candidates looking for suitable employability. The LANXESS B-ABLE SKILL CENTRE was set up in association with BASIX Academy for Building Lifelong Employability Limited (B-Able) who is the implementation partner for the project for a period of three years covering Thane, Jhagadia and Nagda.
At a brief event in Thane, LANXESS Board of Management members Dr Rainier van Roessel and Dr Anno Borkowsky along with Neelanjan Banerjee, Vice Chairman and MD, LANXESS India, presented a cheque of Rs 5 million to D Sattaiah, CEO and MD of B-Able for project implementation in the second year.
