Holiday Wine Edit

Launched in 2005 by John and Clare Woodward, the story of Frogitt & Vonkel stretches across three continents, many decades and two generations. The Woodward family established themselves as purveyors of exclusive premium wines in the early ’70s, when John’s father, David Woodward, began selling German and French estate wines via private samplings in the UK’s home counties. In 1977, the Woodwards relocated to the US, taking with them the passion and the concept behind the business and, most importantly, their relationships with key wine producers. The Woodwards sold to private clients from Kansas City, Missouri, Chicago, Illinois, and San Francisco, California.
