Frankfurt’s Felix Kröcher brings his thumpin’ sounds to Decibel.

Techno Warrior

When it comes to dance floor training grounds, Frankfurt’s U60311 club – with its discerning crowd – is not the easiest nut to crack. But it’s here that Felix Kröcher carved out his dance floor sound and earned his techno stripes, and from this solid foundation he’s gone on to play huge festivals at home (Time Warp, Nature One and SonneMondSterne) and further afield (Wire in Japan, Nocturnal in the States and Awakenings and Amsterdam Dance Event in the Netherlands).

It was his highly acclaimed Läuft album from 2011 that further propelled Kröcher into the limelight, while output on the likes of Toolroom, Deeperfect, Riot Recordings, Terminal M and Selected Records have all helped cement his reputation as the “techno zeitgeist”. His long-standing association with Germany’s favourite electronic radio station, Sunshine Live, hasn’t hurt either.
