Tupperware has revamped Indian kitchens and the approach towards it. These products have shown us the way to make a kitchen look organised and well-arranged. And hence, its products have been adopted by the urban home makers. Speaking about it, Shilpa Ajwani, Managing Director, Tupperware India says, “Post its entry into the Indian market in 1996, we have been able to change the way the kitchen was organised in the urban sector.”
Since its entry in the Indian market, the company never looked back and has been continuously elaborating its range of products. While explaining about thoughts behind product development she says, “Our products are made with cutting-edge technology and innovation. Additionally, they are made taking customers’ requirements into consideration.”
Narrating the journey of the company in the country, she mentions, “In the past two decades, Tupperware launched many products specialised for the Indian market. We started as a container brand and over the years we have moved to become a complete culinary solutions company, offering storage, serving to cooking products.”
“In order to serve Indian customers better, Tupperware India opened a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant at Dehradun in 2010,” she continues. The manufacturing operations have received an ISO 9001:2008 certification.
