It was not the best of weather in Delhi with the air quality at its worst. And here I was with a convertible that was simply irresistible. I was ready to travel topless, and breathe in the air of freedom.
EXTERIOR DESIGN AND FEATURES
The new Mini Cooper S convertible is a three-door fancy. Now it’s got a more streamlined front end and muscular sides. The classic MINI profile remains intact with short overhangs. The MINI logo is all over the car – on the bonnet, tailgate, steering wheel, central instrument display and the remote control. In fact, the remote control is very practical with its buttons highlighted very clearly.
The characteristic circular LED headlights make the car look purposeful from the front. The new lens design and complete LED daytime running light ring incorporates LED indicators. There is also an option of adaptive LED headlights that include cornering lights and an innovative matrix lights functionality that improves visibility.
We all know that the MINI has got a strong British origin and when you see the rear light units of the new MINI convertible they appear in a Union Jack design. The car sits on smart alloy wheels with run flat Hankook tyres measuring 205/45 R17 (17” is optional).
INTERIOR DESIGN AND FEATURES
It’s easier to get inside the car when the top is down. Putting on the front seat belt is a bit of an exercise as you have to almost turn around to pull the seat belt to engage it. Getting into the rear seat is also an exercise in struggle, unless of course you are physically as flexible as Stanley Ipkiss in the movie ‘The Mask’.

BMW iX E-Car Achieves 5-Stars In Euro NCAP Test
The BMW iX premium electric car which has been launched in India, has achieved five-star ratings in all test categories of the Euro NCAP crash test. In the assessment of adult occupant protection, the testers highlighted among other features the effectiveness of the new interactive airbag between the driver and front passenger seats, which provides additional protection against injury in the event of a side collision. Child safety in the rear of the BMW iX was also given the highest possible score for both frontal and side collisions.
