JAGUAR SMATTERINGS
Going back to the S.S. era, and Clark Gable's XK120 Roadster with a removable hardtop

01 A VERY STYLISH SILVER S.S. JAGUAR PERPETUAL desk calendar with an engraved plaque to a person whose name we had trouble deciphering. One of a few produced by S.S. Cars to give to its senior management on special occasions, this example presented to a Mr Stafford and inscribed on a solid silver plaque on the wooden base, is hallmarked silver Birmingham 1936. An identical one sold recently through Bonhams for around $5000.

02 Back to the very beginnings of Jaguar Cars. These are three stylish Swallow and Swallow Sidecar logos. The centre one may be the earliest.
