Making paper patterns

On a photocopier, enlarge the pattern by 225%. Trace the pattern on to tracing paper, placing the pattern on folded tracing paper, matching broken lines to the fold. Mark the dart and arrow. Cut out the pattern and open out flat.

From striped fabric, cut one front, back and a 34x5cm rectangle for the band, four 3cm long strips by the zip width for zip end covers and two 5.5x5.5cm squares for the tabs. From plain fabric and fusible fleece, cut one front, back and band. Cut four zip end covers and two tabs from interfacing.

NOTE Join pieces with right sides facing, taking 1cm seam allowance.
