How did you get into the business?
I have been the Head of CSR for a few prominent corporate houses like Patni Computers & WNS and the Founding member of Axis Bank Foundation. While I enjoyed my role in the corporate world, my heart was always in the food industry, and I am glad to have finally found my calling in life, CremeYum Creamery!
How did you perceive the gap in the market?
While on a vacation in Italy with my husband (Deepak Rattan), I realised that while "ice cream" is one of the most popular desserts in India, the premium and authentic gelatos creamy, smooth, no added colours and flavours, and no added preservatives were almost nonexistent in our country.
