She's the Hollywood sweetheart with the reputation of being one of the industry's bubbliest stars. But Goldie Hawn's son Oliver Hudson's recent candid comments about his famous mum have threatened to damage her golden image.

"My mother was the one that I had almost the most trauma about, interestingly enough, because she was my primary caregiver and I was with her all of the time, so I felt unprotected at times," Oliver shared on his and actress sister Kate's Sibling Revelry podcast, while discussing a recent course he'd done "unpacking the patterns that were put upon you from your parents and step-parents".
