The British boy band reform after 25 years and they're bringing the party Down Under

Cast your mind back to the late 1990s.

For teens, it was a time of baggy denim, scrunchies and endless afternoons spent sucking Zooper Doopers.

It was the era of pop fever and at the centre of it all was boy band Five, rebellious, loud and standing apart from their squeaky-clean contemporaries. With a raw, energetic sound, they became masters of infectious pop anthems like Everybody Get Up and Keep On Movin’.

For a brief period Five were a global sensation, selling more than 20 million records worldwide. But, just as quickly as they rose to the top, they went their separate ways, leaving a devoted fanbase yearning for more.

Now, after a 25-year hiatus, the boys are back. Richard “Abz” Breen, 46, Scott Robinson, 45, Ritchie Neville, 46, Jason “J” Brown, 49, and Sean Conlon, 44, have put their “explosive” past behind them and are reuniting for a momentous reunion tour. They’re set to bring the party to Australian arenas next year.
