Come Christmas Day, millions across the country will sit down to watch the Call the Midwife Christmas special and that's no different for the show's star Jenny Agutter.

But the actor insists she's not egotistical, joking, 'I don't inflict it on the family!" She explains, 'In fact, if I said nothing, they would turn it on because they do want to watch, so I join in.' Jenny adds, "We film the Christmas episode in April, so by the time December comes around, it all feels new to me.'
