The couple open up about marital problems amid split speculation

Split rumours have been rife for months, with reports suggesting that Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s marriage is ‘on the brink’. And now the Sort Your Life Out presenter has arguably fuelled them further, admitting their relationship is ‘hard’ and that she has times when she wants Joe, 44, to ‘stay away’ from her.

While in recent weeks the couple, who celebrate a decade together this year, have maintained a united front on social media at family celebrations, Stacey, 36, has made it clear that marital bliss can be somewhat of a rarity in their household. So much so that last year the couple attended a counselling session together where they discussed the ‘biggest issue’ in their ‘whole relationship’ — some of which aired on their BBC1 reality show Stacey & Joe.

‘[I feel like] I’m a huge problem in Stacey’s perfect life,’ Joe admitted at the time.

And in April, as Woman’s Own previously reported and just weeks after the former Loose Women panellist was pictured with her wedding ring noticeably absent, their marriage faced more scrutiny when it was reported that the 2022 ceremony they’d held at their home wasn’t legally binding.
