Based on Mary S. Lovell's biography The Mitford Girls, six-part drama Outrageous tells the tale of aristocratic sisters Nancy, Pamela, Diana, Unity, Jessica and Deborah, who caused a stir in the 1930s with their romantic lives and political leanings.

Joanna Vanderham plays Diana, who falls for Oswald Mosley (Joshua Sasse), founder of the British Union of Fascists, and walks out on her wealthy husband Bryan Guinness.
